“USA Today” in the weekend edition, April 3-5, 2020 has an article entitled, “US masks sold to China even as crisis hit home.” It shows ventilators, surgical masks and surgical garments sold at unforgivable highs with sales nearly 10 times the usual amounts. I believe that illustrates the “us” that Kushner stated. I think the White House has created a culture that few others can relate to and is delusional.
I do believe the White House considers all that is federal and/or private sector as belonging to the Trump family to do with as they please. Selling exorbitant amounts of equipment to foreign countries is only one aspect of the new Trump empire. Trump will prove once and for all how abusive government (Deep State/regulations) is to the private sector through policies that inhibit profit, even if it for the sake of national security and foreign policy.
As Pompeo seeks equipment for use in the USA from foreign countries, literally we are first exporting and then importing.
People will die in the USA because of the White House culture of not executive rights and responsibilities, but, exclusive rights and responsibilities.
