American businesses are great because of freedom and choice and speech.

Some in the world believe control it better than freedom. That is not case. That is why the "Rule of Law" is so important. Everyone has the same rules to abide by and they measure success within those rules. Freedom of speech is vital to any economic growth in The West.

Choice. The greatest endorsement of any service or merchandise is "personal recommendation." "Word of Mouth" advertising can't be bought or legislated.

Daesh was successful because of brutality, oppression and extremism. They promised heaven on Earth and delivered the devil. I support the businesses that are carrying out a boycott in demanding the knowledge of a favorite Washington Post journalist, Jamal Khashoggi. The Muslim faith believes a person becomes more powerful in death. It would seem to be the case with Jamal. He is missed. Dearly missed.

Alphabet Inc's Google (click here) on Monday became the latest company to say it would boycott a business conference in Saudi Arabia, after the disappearance of prominent Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Turkey.

Google said in a statement that Google Cloud Chief Executive Diane Greene would not attend the Future Investment Initiative Summit to be held in Riyadh starting Oct. 23.

Khashoggi, a U.S. resident, Washington Post columnist and leading critic of Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, vanished after entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on Oct. 2 to get marriage documents....
