Their defense of Trump is not only pathetic but abandons the USA Constitution. The expression of support heard over and over today by anyone reaching for a "final straw" in protecting Trump was, "Ukraine received the munitions."
My reply is, "This time."
The ONLY reason Ukraine received the munitions is because of the Whistleblower. Otherwise, Trump would have gotten away with his little scheme to weaken Ukraine's defenses making in roads to increased dangers from Russia.

Republicans are making the same excuse regardless of the numerous witness testimony. At this point with Republican questioning stagnating it is obvious this is about producing campaign film footage. There is nothing different by the Republicans. They have no interest in what the witnesses have to say.
Irregular Channel = Guiliani and acting in the best POLITICAL interests of Donald J. Trump. Guiliani was not acting as a personal attorney, hence, at the very least campaign finance violations.
Rep. Krishnamoorthi is attempting to enter 'legal doubt' into impeachment proceedings. That is not required. I don't know who the audience for that is beside the public and their ability to reflect on that statement.

If they run across facts they find significant they pass it on to the DOJ. I am curious as to whether any of this open-source information helped connect the dots with Manaford and his convictions. If so then she did vital work for the USA government without being compensated by the government. It was all voluntary. Fusion GPS did what it needed to when finding open-source information about illegal activities with Paul Manafort.

The Ukrainians were KEPT IN THE DARK until the USA news organizations got the information otherwise.
The reason Ukraine was KEPT IN THE DARK about the cancellation of the aide otherwise they might have raise concerns to members of Congress or otherwise. The aid was LEGISLATED, so keeping Ukraine IN THE DARK about the munitions was vital to sabotage them to benefit Russia.
Ambassador Taylor didn't know about the CANCELLATION because he was pursuing the LACK OF RELEASE of the funding and munitions. He never doubted the aid wasn't forthcoming because he was KEPT IN THE DARK. That only PROVES Trump had his own agenda for Ukraine and was willing to abandon all of the USA's Constitutional authority of legislature until the funding deadline was over. Trump was acting on his own with his own supportive agenda to Russia.

In his opening statement (click here) during closed-door testimony on October 3, Volker told lawmakers he was "never asked to do anything" he thought was wrong, "including by the president," but expressed concerns that the U.S. relationship with Ukraine was "getting sucked into a domestic political debate."
Volker said he raised concerns with "a number of people" from May to August 2019 about the role played in U.S.-Ukraine relations by Rudy Giuliani, the president's personal lawyer, and that he had never seen someone in a position like Giuliani's play a similar part in U.S. foreign relations.
Why is Mr. Volker's more valuable than anyone else? Why would Mr. Volker know what Trump was thinking about aid to Ukraine? He's a mind reader?
When are Republicans going to admit they haven't a leg to stand on? Never? Then it is all political posturing and they don't care about the USA Constitution.
I suppose Republicans are expecting to exploit viewership of the right wing media so they are providing B-roll for that purpose rather than actually finding dignity to uphold the USA Constitution.
President Obama is not on trial here. The USA's legislature that decided to provide aid and munitions is the SUBJECT here. TRUMP decided autonomously to end that legislated aid. Just that simple. Trump did not provide the support Ukraine needed.

It is yet realized whether there would be articles of impeachment out of these hearings. The Whistleblower complaint is factual and is alarming enough, but, the transcript of the phone call is factual and is more alarming and backs up the complaint. Then with an initial investigation under tight security bringing forth witnesses equally alarmed and able to witness to the facts of the Whistleblower carries extremely serious brevity to impeachment. It is not the fault of the American people and it's government finds Trump's methods as inappropriate, alarming and threatening.
No one is disputing the authority of any president to remove an ambassador, this hearing is about Trump's inappropriate use of the power afforded him. The Constitutional authority of the presidency is not in question, it is the abuse of that authority that is in question. Are Republicans really this obtuse? I think the Republicans on the committee just want to hear "That is correct" from a witness for good B Roll.

It is very clear to me by the statements of the two witnesses that Donald J. Trump has abandoned the infrastructure of the USA for a closed inner circle with questionable sources of advice including that of Vladimir Putin.

Trump has appointed himself the only authority that matters in the Executive Branch and has left the infrastructure of the government intact as a deception to the American people. Trump has appointed himself the only authority that matters in the Executive Branch and has left the infrastructure of the government intact as a deception to the American people. If Trump came into office and immediately dismantled the Executive Branch of the USA he would immediately be impeached and removed from office.

The only way the absolute anonymity can be secured so absolute confidential meetings can be held is on a USA military base used for such purposes where the security of road access and air access is controlled.

Whiteout conditions were cited during a pileup involving as many as 85 vehicles on State Route 8 north of Akron, Ohio, on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019.
Snowy weather (click here) and whiteout conditions were blamed for multiple pileups in Ohio and at least two deaths on Tuesday, a day after at least four people were killed in dangerous travel conditions caused by a snowstorm that swept through the Plains and Midwest.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the driver of a semitrailer died after he crashed into an emergency vehicle early Tuesday on Interstate 70 in western Ohio's Clark county.
More climate deaths. People cannot outsmart this stuff. This is not normal weather conditions. These are arctic conditions now in lower latitudes. Most of these people haven't heard the words, "white-out," yet understand it. Safety from official sources has to come in finite and definite words as in, "Driving in these conditions is not ever recommended."
Another person was killed in a crash on the Ohio Turnpike in Richfield at about 9 a.m. Tuesday, Cleveland.com reported. The crash closed the westbound lanes of the Turnpike between Interstate 271 and Ohio 8, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
A crash on Interstate 80 Tuesday afternoon near Austintown, Ohio, involved more than 50 vehicles, WKBN reported. The interstate was closed in both directions between Salt Springs Road in Weathersfield to the Ohio Turnpike in Jackson Township, according to WFMJ. Two people were seriously injured, WJW-TV reported.

Westbound Interstate 76 also was closed in Mahoning County from Interstate 80 and State Route 46 to the Ohio Turnpike because of a crash, the Ohio Department of Transportation said. Multiple vehicles were involved, according to WKBN.....
Driving to emergency scenes isn't easier because the vehicles are emergency vehicles with lights flashing. White Out conditions make emergency response difficult and at times impossible. Keep people off the roads.

That cancellation of funding weighed heavily on President Zelensky and why the call was undertaken in the first place. As far as Trump was concerned there was no reason for the discussion of the Javelins because the funding would cancel and the Javelins, in appreciation of Russia, would never be delivered.

A college wrestling referee (click here) claimed in a new lawsuit that he told Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, two decades ago that an Ohio State University team doctor who has been accused of sexually assaulting students had masturbated in the shower in front of him.
But Jordan, who at the time was an assistant Ohio State wrestling coach — and then OSU head coach Russ Hellickson, who was also told about the incident — just shrugged off the shocking claim about Dr. Richard Strauss, the suit says.
Jordan and Hellickson responded, “Yeah, that’s Strauss,” according to the lawsuit filed Thursday in federal court in Columbus, Ohio....
How many more of these college athlete scandals is the USA to tolerate and now a US House of Representative as Assistant Coach is involved. Do I have to remind the US House about Penn State?
The Trump White House is facing an impeachment hearing tomorrow and Trump is playing games. He is guilty as sin and everyone knows it. This isn't about Trump or Republicans, it is about a president who broke the law. He sought to intimidate a new Ukraine president in order to spin up a political story that would carry brevity because it was coming from another country. That was supposed to seal the deal to 2020 re-election.

Last year, he ran for a seat on the county commission, “and I’ve regretted it every day since then because it began this nightmare,” he said.
His opponent was Sam Palmer, younger brother of the most controversial law enforcement official in the region, Grant County Sheriff Glenn Palmer.
Larson lost the election decisively. During the campaign, the sheriff reported Larson for a timber theft that forest managers say never happened, and the sheriff’s supporters challenged his water rights....
There is an ethics complaint, but, this is more than an ethics complaint; citizens believe they are threatened with their lives. It appears he is a thief as well.

A sheriff in eastern Oregon (click here) who announced he would resign the day after being notified of an ethics complaint against him, now says he will stay on the job and seek reelection for a sixth term.
Grant County Sheriff Glenn Palmer told county officials at a public meeting last week he would quit. But he wrote in a Facebook post Tuesday, “I am withdrawing my resignation.”
A former Oregon State Police officer filed the latest ethics complaint with the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training, or DPSST, a state agency that enforces minimum standards for peace officers.
The complaint alleges Palmer failed to return lost property — in this case, a fishing pole with the owner’s name engraved on it. The complaint alleges Palmer kept the pole out of personal animosity toward a retired Oregon State Police officer, Gordon Larson....
Palmer is engaging in his own form of justice. He is lawless and needs to be investigated for his very, very corrupt actions while serving as law enforcement. He easily has violated his oath of office.

Atlanta - Former President Jimmy Carter (click here) is recovering after brain surgery this morning at Emory University Hospital.
The Carter Center confirmed that there were no complications from the surgery to relieve pressure on his brain due to a subdural hematoma.

Rank-and-file bureaucrats who work in the federal agencies that handle national security will defy the directive of the White House to stay quiet, instead describing what they saw as they went about, in their view, just doing their jobs.
Their role in recounting to the public how President Trump and his allies attempted to enlist Ukraine to investigate his political rivals will not come without risk. All but one of the 11 career Foreign Service staff, military officers and Pentagon officials who first testified in closed-door depositions in the Capitol basement are still in government....
They face danger every day in their jobs. This is an added dimension to that danger, but, if one thing is true about these people is that their middle name is "brave." Each in their own way brings traits to the USA that cannot be duplicated. The American people will be witnessing bravery for and loyalty to the USA in action.

The president's lawsuit (click here) named the House Ways and Means Committee, New York Attorney General Letitia James and the commissioner of the New York Department of Taxation and Finance, Michael Schmidt. ABC News reported at the time that Rep. Richard Neal, D-Mass., the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, has hesitated to use the new law to request the president's state returns.
In their complaint, Trump's lawyers claimed that Neal had "expressed a renewed interest in utilizing" the statute.
Nichols wrote that "such a speculative statement" about Rep. Richard Neal's "interest in utilizing" the TRUST Act "does not satisfy" the court.
Shortly after the judge issued his ruling, New York Attorney General Letitia James released a statement applauding the decision.
"We have said all along that this lawsuit should be dismissed and we are pleased with the court’s conclusion," James said. "The TRUST Act is an important tool that will ensure accountability to millions of Americans who deserve to know the truth. We have never doubted that this law was legal, which is why we vigorously defended it from the start and will continue to do so."....

Trump wants violence in the country.
I briefly saw the New York Times article about Trump removing science from health decisions.
Trump has to know, or maybe he is too stupid to know, that eliminating science from policies of public health is a human rights violation. The legislature, be it the state and/or the federal government will not allow that to happen to the American people. This coming election is important and this is a prime example of the idiocy that exists in right-wing politics.
The American people should never be faced with the words of a president that THREATENS their lives. There is existing law that will prohibit him from carrying out such atrocities. I do believe if Trump sees another term, there will be assaults against Americans in methods they haven't witnessed before. It will be a totalitarian White House. Then there might be violence in the country. Let's not go there. We will be fine. We are too smart to fall into those traps.

The cold rront coming through is nothing to toy with, so keep the children at home.
It is a rough storm. First, the rain comes through, then the temperatures drop freezing the rain, then the heavy snowfall starts. The snow is heavy and will accumulate quickly. It is not melting.
The wind will be coming about 12 to 18 hours after the rain first started and it will take the temperatures from about 26 degrees Fahrenheit to 6 to 9 degrees Fahrenheit.
The only way to be sure home is warm is to keep the temperature high. The deeper the freeze the more easily it will rob warmth from an apartment or house or trailer. Do not try to conserve heat during these severe cold storms.
Keep the children home and enjoy them for a day of play with Mom and/or Dad.
