It is a very different picture today.

Except for the devastation Irma left behind, it is history.

Irma

27.50 -81.90 09/11/00Z 85 952 HURRICANE-2
28.90 -82.60 09/11/06Z 65 965 HURRICANE-1
30.30 -83.10 09/11/12Z 55 975 TROPICAL STORM
31.50 -84.00 09/11/18Z 45 985 TROPICAL STORM
32.40 -84.90 09/12/00Z 30 988 TROPICAL DEPRESSION

Jose has dropped considerably as well. Wow. Irma was churning up so much hot water out of the oceans it supplied another storm. Wow. Jose may reorganize, but, most likely not. It isn't as though Irma did not but cause wind damage and flooding, it was redistributing heat from the troposphere into the oceans. At least that is what it was supposed to do. I think an argument can be made that the waters and any redistribution of heat are at an equilibrium. Considering the nature of Harvey and the prolonged velocities of Irma, hurricanes may not be cooling the troposphere at all.

Irma was an enormous hurricane that was supported by a hot troposphere and hot water. I have to question the ability of Earth to solve it's own heat imbalance.

The arctic air was homogenized into a cool picture today. The Autumnal Equinox in Northern Hemisphere will be at 4:02 PM or 2002 on September 22, 2017.
