In a First World country, which I believe the USA continues to maintain. Any member of it's society should be regarded as important, valued and competent to make decisions. The USA is not a sexually incompetent country. Quite the contrary. The society is exposed to all types of sexual information, contraceptive alternatives, playful entertainment, permission for fantasy and openness.
American sexuality is not a dark secret, nor little understood. The 'denial' by the Republican Religious Right and if there are Pro-Life Democrats then they as well, is inexcusable and nothing more than a political agenda that is anchored in lies, deceit, coersion and a profound lack of separation of church and state.
The Pro-Life Movement is guilty of radicalization of privacy, sexuality and intimacy. So far, we have stopped the bombings, now it's a matter of putting these hideous ideas 'to bed.' Destroying the USA Constitution for the purpose of political volleys is treason.
