The Senator is so desperate for momentum in this race he ran his own straw poll and guess what? He won.
This is the Senator that stood in defiance of the USA Constition when he asked Alito his position on public displays of religious holidays on government property. Alito and he just 'gushed' together as they proclaimed the 'public square' should be robust and all should particiapte leaving out those that simply don't participate. It was a bigoted moment, in sensative and self righteous for the entire world to see, but, Alito made it to the Supreme Court anyway. We don't need to propagate the mistake of that day !
