This is sea ice from Russia's North Pacific on April 26, 2005. I don't have anything in this picture for scale so it's difficult to put it into a perspective to help everyone understand. There might be a Polar Bear out there, but, it's difficut to tell. There is significant sea ice and I can't imagine commercial shipping lanes through that danger anytime soon.
