A spectacular (click here) astronomical phenomenon was seen in the western sky on Friday night. Three astronomical bodies, the Moon, Venus and Jupiter appeared very near to each other forming a triangle. The view was divine to watch for star gazers. If you missed the opportunity, there’s still another chance to witness the divine trio meet on Monday.
 
Since, these three astronomical bodies, Moon, Venus and Jupiter are the second, third and fourth brightest objects respectively in our solar system after the Sun, it was very easy to locate them in the night sky.

Dr Abel Yang, who teaches physics and astronomy at the National University of Singapore has earlier explained that to watch the divine event, try to find clear location where you can see the sky clearly with least possible obstructions in the west and try to locate the three very close brightest objects in the sky....
