Total Rainfall from a NASA observatory 'film loop.' The loop (click on title - thank you) is interesting as it shows the migration of Equatorial...

...water vapor and it is noted, the migration is contained in a 'specific' and 'limited' band of tropical climate. So limited in its small migration, that I would boldly state that that 'specific band' of water vapor has never acted as a 'source' of heat and water to tropospheric storms to facilate 'heat transfer' in the oceans as it has since the development of vortices in the Northern Hemisphere.

1998
Turning for a minute to these two images, 11 years and one month apart, the 'stress' the water vapor 'component' to Earth's troposphere is under is easily discerned. If one looks closely and I hesitate to separate the two images too much.

2009
1. The color compliment indicates a far sparser 'density.'

2. From the year, October 2002, when the vortices first appeared, there is a 'separation' of the Equatorial Water Vapor that becomes chronic and can be noted on the left of the image of 2009 (West of the Americas), BUT, also in the extreme right of the image (East of Indonesia). This separation appears intermittently before October 2002, but, not at all in the image of 1998.

3. Noted the 'distribution' of the water vapor across the globe. In the 1998 image, it has an appearance as being 'blotchy.' BUT. In the image of 2009, the 'distribution' takes on a 'streaky' appearance. The water vapor no longer meanders around the planet with jet streams and Coriolis. In the image of 2009, the water vapor is 'dynamically' moved, as if pulled, by vortices that have been at work now for over six years. What does that mean? It means that the very 'dynamic mass' of water that is supposed to float somewhat lazily around Earth, is now suspended in a manner that is a 'force' and acting on the Earth's troposphere with the added 'force' of strong tropospheric vortices. Water is no longer as 'benevolent' as it once was and adds even more chaos to the 'regressive loop' of Climate Change.

4. In the film at the title to the entry, the most profoundly effected continent is Australia. The drought of Australia can be discerned in this film, especially after the time of October 2002.
