Photographer states :: Power lines down - Not all power lines are due to tree branches growing over power lines
This is hazardous, not just from the perspective of extreme weather conditions and the ability of a hydroelectric plant being able to deliver it's product. The grid failure in New York that extended to the Midwest was due to a sagging power line in the heat.
See that pole? Did an automobile ever hit it? Did anyone ever get killed because of hitting a pole?
What are we doing? It doesn't look to smart to me.
