October 17, 2005. Billed as an attempt to placate ethical issues, this is more a model to stablilize a stem cell that science can 'count on' hopefully without the issues of mutation and/or apoptosis. Genetic medicine is far from over so much as finally coming to terms with 'the nature' of stem cells and the need for a variety that can be used productively. It is a major stride forward. Congratulations.
