In the Washington Times this week, House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik said that if her party wins back control of the House this November, introducing and passing several Second Amendment-focused bills will be a top priority.
She said that in the first 100 days of having the majority, the House would look to move forward with:
National Concealed Carry Reciprocity
Second Amendment Guarantee Act, which would preempt most local laws on concealed carry and allow for lawsuits if licenses are denied.
Congressional oversight and legislation regarding major credit card companies' plans to make a Merchant Category Code for firearm purchases.
