The Chernobyl nuclear power plant is no longer transmitting data to the UN's atomic watchdog, the agency said Tuesday, as it voiced concern for staff working under Russian guard at the Ukrainian facility.
The one global authority on everything nuclear now has absolutely no data from Chernobyl. Lord only knows what he will do to any other nuclear facility in Ukraine. I hate to say this, but, I don't think The West can stay out of this much longer. The Ukrainian military has and is accomplishing a remarkable feat against the Russians, but, this? This is a problem of a different nature.
Russia can begin by explaining what the detected radiation spike was immediately after the invasion. Russia also needs to hand over the radiation badges the personnel are wearing to know if they have been exposed and need to leave for treatment. Russia does not have a good track record on anything nuclear. They have buried nuclear scientists in multiples after each accident and the world doesn't have confidence in Russia taking control of Chernobyl. You don't hand car keys to one that can't drive.

The daughter of a overnight staffer (click here) being held hostage in Chernobyl has warned the plant is being held by Russian forces who 'have no clue about nuclear security protocols' after Kyiv's intelligence agency claimed Putin's forces are preparing to fake a terror attack at the site to try to blackmail the world.
Natalia Ruemmele has warned that staffers who usually work 12 hour shifts have been maintaining the nuclear plant at gunpoint for more than two weeks since Russian forces seized control of the site as she pleaded with Moscow to agree to a ceasefire and allow a shift change.
Ukrainian intelligence earlier warned that Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered his troops to create a 'man-made catastrophe' at Chernobyl which he plans to blame on Ukrainian 'saboteurs' in order to justify further escalating his war against the ex-Soviet country....
This is Jim Dandy wonderful. Do we know if these facilities are still standing? If the facilities are breached what was inside and what happens when it is exposed to fresh air? What are the inventories like? Does the WHO have inventories of what was housed in Ukraine?
No, I don't think Ukraine would destroy the labs and poison their own people and soldiers.
March 11, 2022...The World Health Organization (WHO) (click here) has called for Ukraine to destroy all high-threat pathogens in the country’s laboratories to preempt any leakages of toxins that could spread disease, Reuters reported.
“WHO has strongly recommended to the Ministry of Health in Ukraine and other responsible bodies to destroy high-threat pathogens to prevent any potential spills,” the organization told Reuters in a statement.
Russia’s incursion into Ukraine and its bombardment of cities has increased the risk that disease-causing pathogens could escape such laboratories, if any of these buildings sustain damage, Reuters reported, citing biosecurity experts....
