MIT needs to have a statistician prepare the "human error" that will be part of a kindergartener in the USA when they go back to school.
The bubble suits strong enough to support a child on the playground don't come in pediatric sizes.
In returning children to school, the support personnel, including administrators and teachers that will be in the building have to test daily and more often if necessary because of a NEW emergency standard no different than fire drills, to the BELIEVED exposure to SARS-CoV-2 during the school day.
At this point, there are no real assurances a child will be safe in a group classroom.
Some people (click here) who have to be responsible for their siblings or parents as children grow up to be compulsive caretakers.
There is human error in everything we do. There is a "margin of error" in producing masks, the need for N95 masks, hand sanitizer and other "items" necessary to protect children. There is no 100 percent answer to sending children back to school. When all those errors are added up it is an impressive percentage of SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN that will contract COVID-19, become maimed and DIE.
- isopropyl or rubbing alcohol (99 percent alcohol volume)
- aloe vera gel
- an essential oil, such as tea tree oil or lavender oil, or you can use lemon juice instead
These are the ingredients of homemade hand sanitizer. The poison control center will be busy when schools open as children drink and eat hand sanitizer. The cost of purchasing commercially produced hand sanitizer will quickly become unaffordable to the schools. The idea of "clean hands" becomes a game and the needed quantity will equate to BOTTLES per day and not a bottle per month. The school systems will quickly find they have to make their own hand sanitizer to meet the demands of CHILDREN.
That cost grows when a child arrives at school and FORGOT his or her face masks and tears of fear are unending until the principal provides a school owned face mask because of a NEGLIGENT parent.
As parentification (click here for parentification of teens) of children will take hold in the school environment and it will lose its meaning and the task will focus on preventing infection rather than learning.
The costs will become a burden and the daily treatment regime will be abandoned for the lack of sincere numbers of infection, then low and behold, SARS-CoV-2 will enter a classroom and an entire classroom will fail because the children become ill.
THE IDEA THAT CLASSROOMS CAN OPEN SAFELY IS PREPOSTEROUS AND EVERYONE ADVOCATING IT, MORONS.
I strongly support "Helicopter Parents" that want an absolute guarantee their children are safe in every aspect of "attending schools" from the time they leave the home until they return. Mental health has to be guaranteed as well, especially mental health.
