Notre Dame needs to consider placing the relics in a secure vault someplace in the cathedral. They can be visited regularly by a committee that recognizes them, validates their place and security. But, to leave them throughout the structure is not in good judgment.

The relics can be duplicated and displayed with the understanding the actual relics are within the structure, but, secure.

The artwork can be debated by those within the Notre Dame decision makers as to replication and security. But, to continue to believe they are secure simply because it is Notre Dame is not good judgment.
