Eva Kaili was elected Member of the European Parliament in July 2014 with the Panhellenic Socialist Movement - Olive Tree and Head of the Hellenic S&D (Socialists & Democrats) delegation.

Ms. Kaili is a highly educated and qualified woman who enjoys politics. She has a sister that is a lawyer. She is known for her attractive legs.

At the age of 39, she is the youngest member of Parliament. Her accomplishments to date include membership in numerous Parliamentary committees:

- Standing Committee on Cultural and Educational Affairs

- Standing Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs

- Special Permanent Committee of Greeks Abroad.

- Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC)

- NATO Parliamentary Assembly and of the 

- Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean
