The International Consortium for Medical Abortion (ICMA) has launched a new international campaign for women's right to safe abortion. The European Society of Contraception and Reproductive Health and other relevant organisations and societies have been invited to take a part in it, so as to challenge the growing threat posed by some conservative political and religious forces that are blocking efforts to improve laws and provide services, determined to exclude abortion from maternal mortality reduction and family planning initiatives....
