The priorities of Republicans are always the same. They never change. This agenda item for the Republicans may as well be on the list from the 1980s. Since, Eisenhower, the USA military industrial complex has always been the highest priority and receives endless amounts of money. Peacetime, too.
The Republicans are only biding their time to reignite tensions globally and start wars again.
Romney’s defense budget target is lofty
WASHINGTON - It is one of Mitt Romney’s most striking anecdotes. The US Navy, he says, has fewer ships today than in 1917, and the US Air Force is smaller than it was in 1947.
