The Southern Christian Leadership Conference has a long and distinguished history.

In recent times the SCLC has been undergoing some scandal with complaints of embezzlement, but, that is really the only 'spot' on its soul.

The men of the King movement claimed their future and how the USA would remember this painful time and struggle.

There really isn't much else to say.  It really is a settled matter.  As a matter of fact, the 'vision' of the SCLC has a global view and expands widely on the movement that began after the Montgomery Bus Boycott that began with the arrest of Rosa Parks.
