
But, to realize the 'amount' of light reaching Antarctica's stations this photo is from the German Reporting Station on July 31, 2007 at 1540 or 3:40 PM. It is only twilight at nearly four o'clock in the afternoon their time.

The most light I found was at the link above of the German Reporting Station Cam. Scott Base is basically still in darkness (click here).
