The wind maps shows the warming at the large vortex at the coast at 4 o'clock is noted. The highest winds 'on to' the continent are there.

That is reflected in the wind map (click on) and the reporting station data (click on) which if one clicks on the wind tab will see a few 'calm' stations as opposed to sustaining winds over 10 mph.
