Oddly, he is probably right in that the court proceedings were illegal as the laws governing the court was not yet passed and won't be for another 45 days. Iraq has enough of a burden. Saddam Hussein should be at The Hague. There has to be an element to the violence within Iraq due to Saddam's presence. One of his lawyers have been abducted. That isn't enough. People are either looking or him to extricate him or kill him. He needs to be remanded to The Hague.
