DOGE can make suggestions to Congress after doing some kind of assessment. The assessment can be challenged as well. But, they do not have the power to dissolve government functions established by a freely elected Congress.

The statement by Trump on “X” is really quite astounding. Every American business and their leadership should feel free to enter opinions to their elected officials in regard to an Executive Branch full of hubris.
Lobbyists are always a potential.
The Presidential Order is NOT legislation. There is a limit to how much damage Trump can render and how much Congress will tolerate. The people should not resign their own power to a loud mouth.
