It takes great courage and heartache when an autoimmune problem erodes happiness.
I think part of the problem with the so called joke by Chris Rock was that it wasn't pre-vetted according to many trade papers and tabloids (click here).
It appears there is something personal going on with Chris Rock that was never known by the organizers at rehearsals. I don't like the public display of violence between very powerful celebrities on a stage where "the best" are supposed to be awarded for their excellence. But, the so called joke was done in bad taste.
It is unfortunate that Chris Rock and Will Smith had to make history for the Oscars last night in such a tasteless display of emotion.
