Some things never change. If they aren't dropping them on us, they are flying them over our heads.

And they tell us we need nuclear energy besides. Oh, they are safe. Yeah, right up to the point where they ain't.

Do we really need this on our planet? Do we? In our societies?

A secret document, published in declassified form for the first time by the Guardian today, reveals that the US Air Force came dramatically close to detonating an atom bomb over North Carolina that would have been 260 times more powerful than the device that devastated Hiroshima....

Where were YOU on January 23, 1961? We just inaugurated John F. Kennedy as President on the 20th and three days later this is what the taxpayer gets.  Oops. That is what we get, oops.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs was, General Lyman Louis Lemnitzer, he took office under Eisenhower, the man who gave us "Atoms for Peace." General Lemnitzer would take a command with NATO within the next year.
