...Ten people were treated at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital for cuts and abrasions caused by storm debris, a spokeswoman said. .
Tim Ocnashek, emergency management coordinator for Beaumont, praised residents and first responders for their quick thinking and actions.
“We were real fortunate that so few people were hurt,” Ocnashek said. “It seems like everyone worked together real well and everybody — even the public — complied.”...
