Because anything with rubber tires is an act of stupidity in a war zone.
They call it "Urban Warfare." Its nothing but stupidity and an excuse for war when there is actually none. Conventional warfare doesn't lend itself to anything but killing, whereby, 'urban warfare' is some kind of 'extreme' SWAT mission. It's stupid. It creates and legitimizes conflict where none existed before.
War takes place between sovereign nations, not nations of locals.
