How do you think sea level rise happens? Do you think there is a sudden flood? It starts with saturation.

The link to the PDF (click here). The plight of 'near coast' areas have to come to terms with the melting of the Arctic Ocean and terrestrial ice fields. Sea Level rise has already begun. It occurs through saturation before the actual rise becomes permanent.

Here's a little illustration. When one fills a bowl of dry dirt with water there isn't flooding over the rim at first. The dirt has to become saturated with water BEFORE the flooding is noted. These coastal areas are becoming saturated.
