Photographer states :: These smoke plumes rising over the crest of the Sierra Nevadas' is coming from a fire near South Lake Tahoe. The winds are really blowing in the Tahoe Basin, about 40mph. The fire has already burned over 50 homes and over 500 acres of timber as I'm typing this.
