Antarctica

There is some stagnant air over southwest WAIS and with that an accumulation of heat. The peninsula is cooling off but due to it's higher latitudes and with current climate conditions will always be warm. Interesting though when looking at the 'jet stream' (which I'll place above) one would expect it to be still. But, when climate conditions are good throughout the region that is not necessarily the case. Wonder how Scott Base if fairing today?
