This pursuit of understanding is a darn good one anyway. The satellite in January over Afgrica was hotly tragic and the equatorial air mass was mostly indistinguishable. The heat conduit between South American and Afica was actually flowing from west to east on this satellite and up to the North Arctic Region. South Africa was HOT. This was still very much a Southern Hemisphere summer. So, what's up with the Northern Hemisphere? Larger land mass. Yes? Higher human populous. Higher levels of carbon dioxide emissions. A lot goes on with the Northern Hemisphere even though the Sol is still spending most of it's 'direct ray' radiation in the Southern Hemisphere.
