President Biden had a major project for brain cancer in the name of his son and military veteran, Beau. There needs to be consequences if the perpetrators are found. I don’t care what party they belong to, there needs to be consequences.
In defense of BARDA, there are still diseases killing Americans that have yet to be cured. The minority community have endemic issues with chronic conditions such as hypertension. Hypertension leads to other chronic conditions over time, like heart disease and kidney failure. There remains a significant need for BARDA’s work.
The theft of funding is a surprise. Unscrupulous is the only way to describe these thieves. The American people have a right to the trust that goes along with appropriations to solve their problems.
