On this blog is a defense of the Obama young ladies when pardoning the turkey. They were criticized for being teenagers and dressing like one.

The use of "Barron" in the hearings yesterday was inappropriate. The children of presidents have been used for political advantages, including those that were Democratic presidents. Professor Pamela Karlan, in true Republican style, apologized after the fact.

The idea Pence finds a need for a call to "return to the business of the people in the US Senate" after Profesor Karlan's statement about Barron, is truly the joke of the day. What exactly, besides obstruction, has the US Senate led by Pence and Moscow Mitch accomplished this year in the business of the people?
