It is called activism in favor of hate. White Supremacy has been a theme with Trump's White House. The article below is from the Pew Organization. The reason nonwhites are more likely to see the advantage to being white is that they are living it.

...Americans see disadvantages (click here) for blacks and Hispanics in the U.S. A majority of all adults (56%) say being black hurts people’s ability to get ahead at least a little, and 51% say the same about being Hispanic. In contrast, 59% say being white helps people’s ability to get ahead. Views about the impact of being Asian or Native American are more mixed....
This Pew study also stated the role of Trump in the White House has enhanced racism. Those perceptions are not empty. The trend in racism in the USA are more than troubling. In recent polling in Kansas City, a majority of people in an off-year election voted to remove the name of Martin Luther King, Jr. (click here) from a street named after him only a year before. There are also troubling studies showing segregation is not abating but increasing (click here) and one of the culprits are charter schools.
This article in "Vox" also states a counter-argument is leaning on weak data.
...On the other hand, VerBruggen uses this flaw to argue that school segregation actually isn’t getting worse — even though it’s virtually impossible to make this argument from this data alone. VerBruggen does cite a study by Stanford sociologist Sean Reardon and USC sociologist Ann Owens that says school segregation hasn’t changed that much in the past few decades. But Reardon and Owens specifically write that there are two ways they measure segregation:...
The misuse of information is obvious. There is no way a claim stating racism has decreased and segregation decreased can be supported by a study that states, "school segregation haven’t changed that much in the past few decades." "Hasn't changed that much is not permission to say these trends have decreased, quite the contrary, data reflecting little to no change has occurred in DECADES demands a redress of the way racism and segregation is approached by the USA.
Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez is absolutely correct in demanding the resignation and/or termination of Stephen Miller from the Trump White House. His emails clearly spell out a person seeking the influence of White Supremacists in the political venue of Donald J. Trump. How is the USA ever to end racism, bigotry and segregation if those qualities are a part of the character of the White House?

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) (click here) called on senior White House adviser Stephen Miller to immediately resign amid reports that he regularly pushed white nationalist talking points and xenophobia in a series of emails sent in the months before the 2016 presidential election.
The Southern Poverty Law Center published an investigation from its Hatewatch arm Tuesday after reviewing more than 900 messages that Miller sent to the conservative news outlet Breitbart from March 2015 to June 2016. More than 80% of the missives related to “or appear on threads relating to the subjects of race or immigration,” the group found, and many sought to promote far-right extremist ideas and anti-immigration messaging.
Many of the emails were sent before he joined Trump’s campaign while Miller was working for then-Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.).
But despite the timeline, Ocasio-Cortez said Tuesday that the trove of uncovered emails should bring the White House aide’s immediate resignation....
