Sorry, Holly Madison (click here) — it's Hef's turn to tell his story!
Hugh Hefner has led an incredible life, which will be told in an upcoming miniseries American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story!
The project will tell the tale of the Playboy founder's life and company — from his days as an Editor In Chief from 1953 to today!
The production will have full access to Hefner's video and photo archives as well as the Playboy library — which holds over six decades of magazines and unpublished material!
American Playboy will use a "hybrid" docudrama narrative style, telling the story of the 89-year-old's personal life as well as the progression of the country he wanted to evolve!
Hef is nothing but excited for the upcoming docu-series, saying it will serve as a reminder for how far we've come as a society! He recalled:
"When I started Playboy magazine in 1953, I couldn't imagine the incredible journey that was to follow and that Playboy would have such a significant voice in the discussion of our ever-changing culture. I'm pleased that this docu-series will help serve as a reminder of where we've been and how we've evolved as a society, but more importantly my hope is that it will inspire others to pursue their dreams."...
