There is no room for racism in the USA anymore. We are intolerant of racist comments and especially intolerant of racist acts. Americans don't want to hate each other. They celebrate their differences through accolades of diversity and the image of The Statue of Liberty. There is no room for any of the hate Ben Carson is spewing and he should be ashamed. A Huffington reports states:
Racially, thirty percent of Muslim Americans report their race as white, 23% as black, 21% as Asian, 6% as Hispanic and 19% as other or mixed race.

A self-described (click here) "gun-toting" atheist who frequently battled neighbors over parking was indicted Monday for murder in the shooting deaths of three Muslim students near the University of North Carolina last week, according to news reports.
Craig Hicks, 46, of Chapel Hill, was indicted on three counts of murder and one count of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling in the Tuesday afternoon slayings of Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23; his new wife, Yusor Mohammad Abu-Salha, 21; and her 19-year-old sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha. The Durham County grand jury's action was reported by the Raleigh News & Observer and local TV stations....

There are 1,599,700,000 in the world. Of that 3,480,000 Muslims live in North America. Of that 2,770,000 live in the USA. The USA has less than 1 percent, less than .01 percent Muslims living today. The USA has 0.0017 percent of Muslims in the entire world.
The people that have become estranged from the definition of Muslim and acted in violence or were caught in an FBI sting operation are immigrants. The exception to that rule was Anwar al Awlaki. The New York Times did an expose of what occurred with him that turned a man of peace into a man of hate.

There is, finally, his culminating ‘‘Call to Jihad,’’ recorded in 2010 when he was already on President Obama’s kill list and on the run in Yemen’s tribal badlands. In it, with the confidence and poise of a YouTube handyman explaining how to caulk a window, he details just why, exactly, it is every Muslim’s religious duty to kill Americans....
There is simply no doubt that hate takes a toll on people. In the case of al Awlaki the USA government and it's harassment grew its own terrorist.

Washington – Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) and Rep. Raúl Labrador (R-ID), (click here) today reintroduced legislation to clarify and strengthen religious liberty protections in federal law, by safeguarding those individuals and institutions who promote traditional marriage from government retaliation.
The First Amendment Defense Act (S. 1598, H.R. 2802) would prevent any federal agency from denying a tax exemption, grant, contract, license, or certification to an individual, association, or business based on their belief that marriage is a union between a man and a woman. For example, the bill would prohibit the IRS from stripping a church of its tax exemption for refusing to officiate same-sex weddings....
The hate FOX News spews on a regular basis to drive fear based in religious bigotry is astronomical. Ben Carson has tapped into it and he won't let it go because of the NUMBERS in the primary.
The fear is driven by the idea of the 12th Imam and the Madhi. There are parallel dynamics in the Christian revelations and the Muslim apocalyptic theology. The extremists of both faiths are laying claim to the apocalypse. FOX is amazing. They will entertain any kind of hate that drives politics.
