"Please Elizabeth, this is my next great ambition and you must not get in the way." The man that believes women can't do math actually solicited a US woman Senator on the Senate Banking Committee. What a creep he is.

Friday, September 13, 6:16 PM Lawrence H. Summers (click here) recently
reached out to a key Democrat on the Senate banking committee as the
controversy intensified over his potential nomination to lead the
Federal Reserve, people familiar with the matter said.
Summers requested a meeting with Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) when both were in Massachusetts this summer, the people said. Warren has been a vocal critic of Summers’ s effort to deregulate the financial sector when he was Treasury secretary under President Bill Clinton. As a member of the committee that will vote first on the White House’s pick for Fed chairman, she could be a roadblock in advancing a possible Summers nomination....

Could you imagine having to put up with that? Poor, Elizabeth. He is out to destroy her career. There is absolutely no other reason for Larry Summers to want to see Senator Warren. Her focus is consistent and obvious and it is not in alignment with his.
Maybe Larry Summers doesn't believe Yellen can do math. Larry Summers just has an ichy character issue. Like. Who really wants to stand next to him? He is just a jerk.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D - Massachusetts) (click here) is publicly supporting Janet Yellen, current vice chairwoman of the Federal Reserve, to head the agency. This puts her at odds with those within the White House, including allegedly President Obama, who back Larry Summers to chair the Fed, although she has not officially opposed Summers.
Thus far, there has been no nomination, just mainstream media rumors of the White House tilting in favor of Summers.
According to an article in the Boston Globe on August 8, Warren openly mocked Summers in 2009 at Reagan National Airport:...
