There may very well be a beginning to a re-escalation of violence in Iraq. Several Mahdi Army personnel were confronted by USA troops this past week. There was exchange of violence and deaths. There is every reason to believe there are elements within Iraq beginning to lose patients with the continued occupation of Iraq by the USA.
The lull in Iraq is due to vast poverty, deaths and refugees. The USA military openly stated so long as they take a low profile and stop all aggressions the peaceful nature of 'the Iraq market place' seems to return.
I guess so. Considering that violence will destroy any economy.
The USA military is comprised of 'emergency measures' in the deployment of it's National Guard. Iraq was never a threat to the USA and Afghanistan was an easy target. The real enemy of Pakistan remains viable because the Bush/Cheney military is overwhelmed in Iraq to secure political clout in the USA. Americans have lost control of their Executive Branch and hence the sovereignty of their nation.
