September 8, 2005. The convection center over the Gulf of Mexico is in oscillation with Ophelia with it's 'eyes' east of Florida. The sun's rays didn't fuel the circumstances overnight so the two systems have somewhat stabilized while building mild velocities. Ophelia is now at 50 knots where it was 45 knots late yesterday. Nate and Maria remain unchanged and as of this morning the Gulf storm still remains unnamed.  Posted by Picasa
