July 24, 2005. Hollow Rock, Tennessee. The barometer is below 30. I always attributed this kind of heat with cloudless skies and high pressure systems, but according to the graph it is raining outdoors. No wind speed. The heat index is 115. We are in trouble. The humidity was 39 with a temp of 83 but increased to 72 with a temp of 92 with what could be a falling barometer. And most likely is. The heat is brewing it's own storms and with that there is no relief from the heat even when it is raining. What is to stop a chronic evaporation of the water until every aspect of Earth is a desert. There comes a time when the air next to the ground is so hot that water doesn't stay there long if the rain makes it down from the sky at all. We are already evaporating our surface water which will mean there is no dew on plant leaves after a very short time on sunrise.
