I think he should at least take a leave of absence until the New York Attorney General has completed the state’s investigation. The Lt. Governor is capable of filling in during this time. Governor Cuomo should remain available for consultation to the Lt. Governor considering the global pandemic is still active and President Biden is asking for all states to increase the vaccination rate.
To date, the complaints about Governor Cuomo by an increasing number of women (which is the usual pattern) does not rise to criminal as previous offenders.
Not to diminish the importance of the women forthcoming in their sexual harassment complaints, but, rape in New York State requires that sexual intercourse took place against the will of the victim. It did not.
