The second officer that responded to the complaint about a sleeping man was zealous and allowed himself to be compromised by a taser wrestled away from him. The second officer compromised the safety of Mr. Brooks and himself by chasing him at a distance close enough to be shot by the taser. It was sloppy police work and in addition, he fired his weapon at Mr. Brooks within about 20 feet of a number of cars at the Drive-thru.
