I don't know how to transfer "Tik Tok," but, there is an astounding video of a Caucasian man in what appears to be a white stylish sports car pulled over by a police officer that pulled his pepper spray for going 5 mph over the speed limit. The pepper spray can was empty which indicates he frequently is afraid of people, so he reached for his taser to arrest the man behind the steering wheel for going over 5 mph. The officer wanted to arrest the driver and take him to jail for processing. It is an amazing and alarming video. The police officer is a wacko. What is he doing in a uniform? I couldn't help but wonder what kind of orders these cops are getting in regard to the treatment of citizens. Maybe we are supposed to be subdued as a society, too.

This is not the America most are aware of and it isn't going to exist in the USA much longer. Police harassment and abuse is not to be tolerated. Anything beyond asking for ID and if a car is involved a valid registration and insurance certificate is harassment. The police must supply a valid reason for asking for the ID as well. Beyond that compliance with the law the office needs to provide a summons to appear in court.

Verbal exchanges occur between police and citizens. Those exchanges can escalate in alarm because of the actual ticket being provided for an actual infraction with traffic laws. If a police officer is so thin-skinned they cannot tolerate some verbal exchange that is less than complimentary they don't belong in the uniform. The police need to be sensitive to the fact they are confronting a citizen with much more on their mind besides a new summons to court. There is a global pandemic and new tensions between police and citizens loaded with racism. Besides that, the USA has a president that doesn't understand the meaning of statesmen and is very inflammatory in his demeanor and speech of domestic issues.

No doubt the Executive Order regarding police reform is nothing more than pablum.

Pre-paid legal services (click here); "Legal Shield" is a better-known service; need to up their game. Criminal attornies in general need to be prepared to defend the people of this country from vicious police.

I tell you this much if police officers are going to "take on" Americans in an inappropriate and abusive manner they are going to find themselves at the side of the highway without witnesses caring who did it. The best friends they have are innocent Americans that care about the law. If the police turn Americans against their own law, they will be sorry over time.

Police chiefs need to be talking to their officers about being "peace officers" and not wannabee swat members.

There are a lot of guns on the street.
