The number of problems facing the Democratic House is staggering. The Mexico - USA southern border is experiencing a humanitarian crisis caused by President Trump's wrongful assessment of the migrants from the Northern Triad. The US House will have to investigate how this crisis manifested, including the funding of humanitarian aid to the three countries of the Triad.
The humanitarian issues that have manifested due to the Trump administration include the death of an American journalist and the complete denial of the climate crisis that has caused deaths and devastating damage in California. Those are only two humanitarian issues. All three issues are primarily domestic in their origins and directly related to the policies of the Trump White House.
Climate needs to be addressed by the USA, otherwise, the best forest management can be compromised.

The Trump administration has spent weeks lambasting the caravan, which it said was filled with criminals, gang members and even — it insinuated at one point without any proof — terrorists.

It wasn't enough.
"Because of the absence, the apathy and the abandonment of the federal government, we are having to turn to international institutions like the U.N.," Figueroa said....
