I would encourage President Obama to use the "Fireside Chat" on a frequency of every two weeks to be sure the Republicans are kept accountable for the next two years. Currently, they are affiliated with news media that prides itself on falsehoods and fear. In order to maintain a steady course for the USA, President Obama should address the country on a regular basis and be sure it is on a televised basis. 

With that, I think everything will be fine. There will be no impeachment, so to call the Congress into responsibility of over riding the inevitable veto, the people need to know.

President Roosevelt needed help in handling the Congress when he was in office. It was a similar time in the country. If it worked for him, it will work for President Obama. President Obama knows the country listens to him and they write when he asks them to and the best results is when he speaks to them through television.
