Bush ignored the intelligence regarding al Qaeda's presence in the USA and allowed the events of September 11th to unfold. It served his purpose and that of Cheney. It is that reality the American voter needs to keep in mind when they elect any President. Are they putting Wall Street in the White House or do they have a President that cares about them and their country.

I think the difference is obvious.

Any action by President Obama in regard to Syria is to sincerely bring about a peaceful solution while protecting allies. That is what the American people need to keep in mind. There won't be mission creep.

The chemical weapons in Syria are uncontrolled. Assad has stated that himself. He states the rebels are in control of the weapons. I'll take him at his word and realize there should be no LOOSE WMD. But, a forever war? Nah. 

I will say this much though, the career military staffing the war room are a problem. They want war as a solution. War is never a solution. Killing is never the answer. They should keep that in mind. It is the DOD and not the War Department.

Hell, Bush and Cheney would formulate a solution to global warming by reducing populations across the globe and call it a reduction in CO2 emissions and continue to drill for oil and gas.
