This is the explosion that killed Rafik Hariri. It was a very sophisticated explosive. Obviously members of the Syrian government were involved.
Mr. Hariri was indeed a great man who sought to liberate Lebanon from the oppression of Syria as leveled by Hezbollah. I am sure the people that carried out this crime were members of Hezbollah.
I believe Former Prime Minister Hariri's son now holds office in Lebanon.

Head of the Future Parliamentary Bloc MP Saad Hariri said that all Arabs want to know the truth behind the assassination of Martyr Prime Minister Rafic Hariri, and achieving justice in this heinous crime. He asserted that he will ask for the creation of an international tribunal to put on trial the suspects, because we in Lebanon were unable to carry out a Lebanese investigation and this is why we asked the help of the United Nations.
