The Iman Ali Mosque at the time of the USA lead Coalition intended attacks on Najaf. All Cleric al Sadr knew to do was to fight. The USA Coalition had removed his freedom of speech when they closed his newspaper. The community stood together to fight the invader that had already proven, through the closure of Cleric al Sadr's newspaper, their insincerity in any of their assertions for an open and democratic Iraq. What did anyone expect? I congratulate Cleric al Sadr for his wisdom to see through the deception and also to let the older and wiser Grand Ayatollah motivate 'the flock' to take control of their destiny. Godspeed.
