I've had quite enough of the stereotyping and double standards of gender by this program.

From the transcript:

"AARON BROWN, CNN ANCHOR: Good evening again everyone.

Martha Stewart is home.

The horse is fed, the greenhouse inspected, the lemons harvested.

Unlike most convicts just out of the slammer,

Unlike most convicts just out of the slammer,

Unlike most convicts just out of the slammer,

Ms. Stewart neither hopped a Greyhound nor hitched a ride home. There was that private jet to carry her back to her country estate north of New York City in the Tony town of Bedford, horse country, where fittingly she spent a little time getting reacquainted with her horses, walking her dog, receiving floral arrangements and answering a few questions from the other side of a well-protected fence..."

..........

Two nights previous CNN's NewsNight fawned all over the 'image' of Kobi Bryant who had minimally engaged in scandalous infidelity. The truth is the evidence leading to a strong case of rape was thwarted because of a damaged and injured woman raped a second time by an aggressive media that tried the victim and not the perpetrator. Colorado has the toughest rape laws in the country including a shield law to protect the victim. All that was trashed to protect an NBA Basketball Star who's virginity in image was not to be touched yet alone trashed.

The disparity of handling the release of Martha Stewart from a minimum security prison for a lie in a case of 'insider trading' that was a false accusation. The entire case was a travesty to justice in the USA, an insult to the USA Constitution and women for the 'lie' was irrelivant to the findings of the greater charges. Martha faces no other Federal or State charges in a case that involves $50,000.

The point here is that CNN and NewsNight chronically stereotype women into rolls submissive to men. Beth Nissan is chronically carrying the distaff side as an endeared female in pursuit of issues overlooked by men ad nausia. It is ludicrous and victimizing. There is more to a woman's world than women's issues and the 'soft' side of life.

The disparity of the treatment of the images of Martha and Kobe is more than just a shame, it is a clear statement of prejudice that men just can't seem to move beyond.

Martha was found guilty of a 'lie' and is on appeal.

Kobe is self admitted guilty of infidelity and according to his victim, minimally sexual assault but more the case of a violent crime called rape.

There is something grossly 'W'rong with this picture.
