"Good Morning"

"Morning Papers"

The Rooster

"Okeydoke"

I said this early on, "Fight for Ukraine now or fight for NATO later." Besides Ukraine being a strategic partner this is genocide, there is nothing else to say, except every Ukrainian soldier dead or disabled is one more Ukrainan satifying Putin's thirst for hate. The war that was never supposed to be is entering a stage where The West needs to examine it's pledges to save Ukraine for death and/or permanent occupation.

Kindly remember, this is genocide, but, also this war started in 2014.

Signing of the Treaty on the adoption of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol to Russia. Left to right: S. Aksyonov (click here), V. Konstantinov (click here), V. Putin and A. Chalyi (click here).

The people of Ukraine were disarmed from any national defense under Yanukovych. The security at the time of Yanukovych was to keep Ukrainians under control. Never did Ukraine have a military to protect it's sovereignty since Yanukovych empowered the oligarchs to oppress the Ukrainian people.

The annexation of Crimea and Donbas was illegal (click here). The signators to the annexation in the picture above right are all Russians. Ukraine never consented to the annexation and the vote taken in Crimea was corrupt. The people of Crimea complained of the corruption, but, no action from The West occurred. The record of the Crimean vote is officially viewed as illegal.

With Russia’s war (click here) against Ukraine having passed the 100-day mark, calls for the conflict to be brought to an end are multiplying in the United States and Europe. Italy has put forward a detailed peace plan, French President Emmanuel Macron has emphasized the importance of giving Russia an off-ramp, and former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger has suggested that Ukraine ought to consider ceding territory to Russia in exchange for peace.

But wars end in only one of two ways: when one side imposes its will on the other, first on the battlefield, then at the negotiating table, or when both sides embrace a compromise they deem preferable to fighting. In Ukraine, neither scenario is likely to materialize anytime soon. The conflict has become a war of attrition, with Russian and Ukrainian forces now concentrated against each other in a relatively confined area. Diplomatically, the Ukrainians have little interest in accepting Russian occupation of large swaths of their territory. Russian President Vladimir Putin, for his part, has little interest in agreeing to anything that could be judged at home to constitute defeat. The inescapable conclusion, then, is that this war will go on—and on.

With victory and compromise both off the table for the foreseeable future, the United States and Europe need a strategy for managing an open-ended conflict. “Managing,” not “solving,” is the operative word here, because a solution almost certainly would require a fundamental change in Moscow’s behavior, caused either by widespread popular protest in Russia stemming from economic collapse or massive casualties or by Chinese pressure....

There is little doubt that the sanctions on Russia have growing effectiveness. More and more sanctions have to take place to isolate Russia from growing acts of war in Ukraine and otherwise.

Yale historian Timothy Snyder (click here) said Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to starve some countries as part of his efforts in Ukraine.

Snyder published a lengthy Twitter thread Saturday explaining how he believes Putin is using food insecurity to his advantage and called it the "latest chapter of hunger politics."

"Russia has a hunger plan. Vladimir Putin is preparing to starve much of the developing world as the next stage in his war in Europe," Snyder, a professor at Yale University and expert on authoritarianism, began, noting the importance of Ukraine's food exports to the global food supply.

The area around the Black Sea, including Ukraine and Russia, has been referred to as the "world's breadbasket" due to its fertile soil and high rates of grain production. Collectively, the two countries account for 30% of the global wheat exports while Ukraine produces about 12%....

The West has been far too generous with Russia over past decades. The Russian Five (click here) has to be the pinnacle of stupidity for The West. Russia was never been a true ally, but, yet it was treated to all sorts of wealth and opportunity that sincerely should have been reserved for strong, loyal and proven allies.

Welcoming Russian women as Birthing Tourists is grossly out of step with protecting sovereignty. In this case Russian women were allowed to travel to the USA to give birth. That is a strong statement about Russian medical talent, because, at least one of Putin's children was born in Scandanavia. But, this tourism is a foothold for Putin to have Russian children born in the USA that can eventually return to become part of the USA legal and government infrastructure. I am uncertain how long this tourism existed or may even exist today, but, the children are getting older and no doubt their parents are looking at the USA for their education.

All of these generous programs are used strategically by Russia's long view. The legislature in the USA and the parliments in Europe need to make it illegal for Russian children born within their border to granted citizenshp with all the rights and privileges thereof. This is not done out of hate so much as protection of sovereignty and the right for people of all ethnic backgrounds to exist.

Russia has to be stopped. Ukraine is the unfortunate place where Putin's agenda and goals are currently playing out. But, that reality has been in existence from 2014. The West must continue it's support for Ukraine. At the same time, every Ukrainian lost, including female soldiers is a Ukrainian lost to the world. That in and of itself should send foreign ministers and secretaries of state to look for military relief for Ukraine.

The West has no choice. Putin will not stop in Donbas. He has no conscience and he is causing suffering of innocent Ukrainians within Russian borders. He is without a doubt conducting a genocide of Ukrainians. Ukrainians are being killed in defending their country, but also genocide in which the land is treated, too.

Putin is causing liquidation of borders while carrying out a scorched earth strategy with missile strikes that are unending. Putin is destroying entire cities in order to kill and gain territory and call it victory. That is the same exact strategy noted in Syria. When a country has nothing upon it that supports human lives, including the World's Breadbasket agriculture, it is genocide. People require land in order to live. By the simple fact Putin continues his missle scourge is proof he has no value of human life. Destroying acre after acre, square mile after square mile forces people to abandon the land in order to survive, but, also abandoned continued utility that provides food, water and basics for an economy. This abandonment is not voluntary, but, brought on by the Russian military.

The West has a very difficult time ahead with Russia's continued genocide of Ukraine and Ukrainians. The people are estranged from their culture and native lands. The West needs to take a long view in regard to the war and the return of use of the land. The destruction of Ukraine's culture or as a member of the global community is not acceptable. Surrending to Russia over time with incremental gains is consenting to genocide of the type Putin carries out wherever he sends his military.

The West must assess it's own future and the role that is unquestionably important in enforcing peace and prosperity for all that want to achieve it. Russia is no longer a country of value in world order. The reason Russia is involved in any aspect of world order, including it's role with Interpol (click here), is to carry out it's agenda to destroy countries and end the lives of those that are not agreeable to him as citizens of the world.

There is no going back. Putin has conducted many, many deaths in the name of Russia with a scorched earth strategy to destroy the land that supports populations of people. Syria is an example as is Ukraine. He has to be stopped. He is killing as he wants. That is not upholding world order, that is destroying it.

Going forward, The West must develop methods and strategies in realizing the communists in Asia are moving in directions not accepted in Geneva or the United Nations. This includes Taiwan. Tiawan has a very different culture than China and China is mowing down Hong Kong as well as plans that destroy more and free cultures. At no time were agreements with China believed to allow destruction of peoples and land in order to CONVERT cultures of now oppressed people. China can easily have a "One China Policy," but, never did anyone think it meant destruction and deaths, so much as a gain in real estate and economic strength.

This is a major paradigm shift for The West, but, it is completely capable of carrying it out. Now is the time for the nightmare and heartache of the reality of the communists to end. The world cannot accept these communist realities as a matter of correct domination over lives on this planet. It is one thing to incorporate land and peoples into a sovereign government through either agreement or annexation and it quite something else to kill those people within agreements to suffer loss of their homeland culture and their lives.

No matter how any of these threats are viewed, it is genocide by definition and legal precedent. It is time to shift strategy and strengthen alliances. Human Rights Abuses cannot be part of any agreement and/or annexation.
